We've been loyal Kickapoo Casino customers since it opened in 1996, and boy has it really transformed itself in the last 17 years. We are rethinking whether or not we want to continue to travel to Eagle Pass. We wish the casino was more like Coushata in Kinder, LA where we have our favorite slot machines STILL and we usually win a little bit. My husband and I have never won there on any of the occasions we have visited and we usually go once a month or so.
I feel the older customers (senior citizens) would prefer playing machines where you don't have to feed in so much money at one time. I also miss the familiar machines such as Dragonfly, Miss Kitty, Pelican, Bullseye, Kitty Glitter, etc., to name a few in fact, I am not sure they are actually the name of the machines, but that is how I remember them. It seems to be more feasible to play the nickel or quarter machines. The newer machines seem to start at 30 cents a spin for the minimum, with some of them costing much more.
I miss some of the older penny slot machines where you could play nine lines at 2, 3, 4 and 5 times a line. I do agree that the casino is looking good however, it is a little too glitzy in my opinion.
